The biggest digital creation camp in the world! From to , on the quay of Espace 400e in Quebec City and live on the web!

The Bivouac is: 48 hours to create a video game, a 2D/3D short film or a digital painting! Participants compete to win over $10,000 in prizes. On Sunday, June 17th, the whole city of Quebec is invited to come and try out the creations, and watch as they are presented onstage!

One hour hosted show - Thursday & Friday at 10pm & Saturday at 8:00pm. Games showcase starts Sunday at 9am. Live broadcast from Thursday noon to Sunday night. All times Eastern. Livestream page with chat!

Paolo Pedercini is an Italian game developer, artist and educator. He teaches digital media production and experimental game design at the School of Art at Carnegie Mellon University. Since 2003 he works under the project name “Molleindustria” producing provocative games addressing various social issues such as environmentalism, food politics, religion, labor and gender.

He is the creator of the minimalist digital sports game Hokra, which has been displayed at over a dozen festivals and art spaces in North America and Europe. He also designed Glow Artisan, winner of the 2010 Independent Games Festival award for best mobile game design.

Zach Gage is a designer, programmer, educator and conceptual artist from New York City. His work explores the increasingly blurring line between the physical and the digital.
